About the Role

Our company employs a diverse array of systems and technologies to deliver our products. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with software engineering teams to focus on software development and infrastructure design, providing expertise in performance, stability, and scalability. You will report to the Site Reliability Engineering Team Lead and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the performance and reliability of critical applications and services in a 24x7x365 environment located in cloud and physical data centers.
• Implement and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure high-performance services and pipelines on a global scale.
• Drive the adoption of best practices for application observability, ensuring the uptime and reliability of our applications and infrastructure.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automating build and deployment processes.
• Work with container orchestration tools, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, to manage and scale applications efficiently.

Work Model

• Hybrid work model: 3 days per week in the office located in Pinheiros, São Paulo.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining scalable production environments.
• Mandatory experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes (preferably OpenShift).
• Strong understanding of source code control systems, versioning, branching and merging, configuration, build management, artifact repositories, automated build tools, automated testing frameworks, and automated deployment frameworks.
• Experience with MS Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as BASH, Powershell, Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery procedures and tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with monitoring and metrics systems (Prometheus, Logstash, Grafana).
• Programming skills in .Net, C# or JAVA.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a distributed team.
• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience with database technologies (MSSQL/PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
