Do you have experience in AML and sanctions compliance, and want to shape pre-sales strategies?

The main responsibility of the Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant is to support sales efforts by collaborating with the client, account manager, and sales representative to assess the technical needs and solution design fit, developing scoping documents and operational workflows while showing our solutions' value to prospects/customers. This professional supports sales productivity and deal flow by assisting sales secure a deal in complex and multidisciplinary environments. Collaborates with sales, product management, operations, and engineering to ensure proposed deals include solutions that accurately address customer needs and exceed the requirements of the decision/business-makers.

Responsibilities

  1. Using your understanding of compliance and sanctions risk management, provide advice and support to clients on compliance and risk regulations, systems, and processes.
  2. Provide product demonstrations to potential customers.
  3. Conduct workshops to gather and analyze client requirements and recommend solutions.
  4. Proactively scope and document the technical solution and project plan required to address prospective customer requirements.
  5. Coordinate with services delivery team to ensure the scoped solution is staffed and implemented according to the expectations set with the customer.
  6. Secure commitments from the customer’s technical staff to ensure the deal meets the technical requirements to close.
  7. Understand profit and loss analysis in multiple markets and industries. Make sound business decisions by developing ROI models and analysis based on this data.
  8. Business case development: responsible for compiling or developing all sections of a business case, which may include: Customer objective(s), Input data summary, Data quality summary, Process and performance tables including how the process compares to industry standards, Financial Analysis and Conclusions / Next steps.
  9. Interact regularly with customers (both internal and external) to provide thought leadership, business expertise, and guidance to the organization relating to your assigned market.
  10. Contribute to the development of sales presentations, proposals, and other client-facing materials by providing frequent market/customer feedback to vertical and product representatives.
  11. Maintain a current understanding of competitor offerings (i.e., price, product, service, or solution) to effectively sell the advantages over those offered by competitors.
  12. Contribute to Thought Leadership in the form of blogs, articles, and white papers.

Requirements

  1. Experience working in AML, sanctions screening, transaction-screening/monitoring, Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), Anti-bribery and Corruption (ABAC), Trade-Based Money Laundering (TBML).
  2. Experience in identifying and preventing onboarding risks for retail (KYC) and business (KYB) customers.
  3. Hands-on experience with systems, databases, and tech solutions related to AML/CTF.
  4. Knowledge of Sanctions Compliance (UNSC, OFAC, HMT), and PEP regulations.
  5. Experience in pre-sales/solutions consulting, professional services, or sales role, working collaboratively with Sales Teams, understanding the full sales life cycle & processes.
  6. Fluent in English and Portuguese. Spanish is a plus.
  7. Strong communication and presentation skills, especially in customer-facing contexts. Ability to convey technical subject matters in simple business-friendly terms.
  8. Highly proficient analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the problem/issue that the customer needs to have solved - involving in-depth research, asking correct probing questions, drawing valid conclusions, and identifying risks.
  9. Experience working with APIs - Application programming interface.
  10. Travel at least 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Having at least one of these certifications CAMS, CFCA, CMLI, FCICP, CGSS, AMLCA, CPC-A, CPC-F or CEC.
  2. Experience conducting High-Risk Customer reviews, PEPs/SOE included, reviewing account activity for red flag indicators and utilizing additional external sources.
  3. Experience working with the following organizations: United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, United Nations Convention against Corruption, COAF, and SUSEP.
  4. Familiarity with technologies and tools used to track and prevent financial crime activities.
  5. Experience working with orchestration platforms.
  6. Knowledge of ISOs 37001 and 37301.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with one day per week in the office.
