About the role

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Moveo.AI , your job is to lead the work on our platform's behind-the-scenes functions, making sure they run smoothly, quickly, and safely. You'll be in charge of building the complex parts that run on our servers, managing how our platform talks to databases, and connecting our system with other services. You'll work closely with the team that handles the parts of our platform users interact with, setting up clear rules for how our systems communicate. You'll also work with the DevOps team to make sure our services are delivered and maintained properly. Develop, deploy, and maintain high-performance microservices within a Kubernetes-based ecosystem, ensuring robustness, scalability, and high availability.

Design architectures with a focus on zero downtime, collaborating with teams to enhance system resilience and efficiency.

Work alongside cross-functional teams to shape system architecture, optimizing platform performance and scalability for a superior user experience.

Champion and disseminate best practices in software engineering, contributing to the growth and excellence of our technical team.

What you bring to the team

Must have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Over 5 years of experience in backend development, with deep expertise in distributed applications and microservices architecture.

Expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Python, or Node.js, and openness to engage with the others.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, from development to deployment and maintenance of applications.

Proficiency in building and interacting with event-driven architectures, using technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ..
