Role Summary:

A Machine Operator will maintain and operate a variety of machines and equipment, including hand tools, to carry out routine tasks. This position is also responsible for installation, visual inspection, and set up of machines and equipment within expected quality and safety guidelines. The machines and equipment may be manual, or computerized.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machines and equipment.
• Use hand tools.
• Move materials and parts to and from work areas using forklifts.
• Ensure smooth production flow.
• Participate in troubleshooting technological and production problems.
• Comply with established guidelines and procedures.
• Comply with all safety procedures and policies.
• Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, construction or similar environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills.
• Ensino secundário and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
• Basic knowledge of shop mathematics.
• Ability to read and follow routings and blueprints.
• Ability to train new machine operators.
• High level of organization.
