Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and highly technical professional to join the Business Technology (BT) organization. A solutions architect creates the overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem. They design, describe, and manage the solution. In many ways, this person builds the bridge between a business problem and the technology solution and outlines each of the phases and requirements required to make that solution work.

Essential Functions:

• Design and develop innovative, scalable, efficient and secure solutions such as, (integrations of on-premise and cloud systems)
• On a global scale across Bunge, within a highly complex projects and ever changing environment, lead the design, development and advancement of (Integration and API cloud-based solutions
• Applies highly technical expertise to provide recommendations and roadmaps which solve complex problems without clear precedent
• Design, debug, and monitor performance of solutions
• Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions
• Regularly communicating new features and benefits to partners, internal customers, and other stakeholders
• Providing technical leadership to Agile Squads and/or DevOps development teams, ranging in size from 6-8 team members, throughout the project lifecycle
• Developing proof-of-concept projects to validate your proposed solutions
• Bring a new & alternative perspective when reviewing and validating solutions designs from other team members
• As a Solution Architecture expert, demonstrate thought leadership & influence beyond the scope or your own team and throughout Bunge
• Accountable for developing & monitoring the solution’s budget
• Advise and support strategy and business technology leaders to understand, apply, monetize, and operationalize existing, new, and emerging technologies to transform automation requirements into scalable and resilient solutions.
• Design end-to-end solutions integrating systems like ERP, CRM and BI for seamless data flow and process automation
• Architect scalable solutions for seamless integration of cloud-based applications with on-premise systems
• Lead the design and implementation of API-driven architecture to enable efficient communication between different systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and map out data mappings and transformations
• Implement event-driven architecture to enable real-time data synchronization across platforms
• Design modern authentication mechanisms to ensure secure data exchange between systems, adhering to industry best practices for cloud security
• Design resilient integration patterns
• Optimize data integration processes to improve data throughput and reduce latency
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on integration best practices applicable to public cloud architectures
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and integration tools to drive innovation and improve efficiency in integration processes

Knowledge and Technical Competencies

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with iPaaSs like MuleSoft, Tibco or SAP Integration Suite for connecting SAP and non-SAP systems in hybrid landscapes
• Familiarity with Apigee API Management platform or other similar for designing, securing and managing APIs across various endpoints
• Strong understanding of public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure
• Ability to design integration solutions leveraging cloud-native services
• Good understanding of managing cloud infrastructure components
• Deep understanding of integration patterns such as Pub/Sub, Request/Reply and Message Queues
• Experience in designing event-driven architectures for real-time data processing and synchronization across distributed systems
• Knowledge of microservices architecture principles and best practices for building loosely coupled and scalable integration solutions
• Expertise with designing security standards for integration solutions
• Familiarity with API governance practices
• Experience in gathering and analyzing integration requirements and translating them into technical specifications and architectural designs

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education & experience required, computer science degree preferred.

Experience

• 11+ year of experience in designing & developing large scale, global solutions with proficiency in (SOAP, REST, API, ESB, JWT, OAuth, SQL, Java or Python or C++)

• 6+ years of experience in (MuleSoft, Tibco, SAP Integration Suite, Apigee, Layer7, Kong), or similar tools

• Demonstrated experience creating analysis' of alternatives and presenting to stakeholders for buy-in and consensus.

• English Fluency enough to discuss and engage in robust dialogue in technical forums without support is required.
