Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an outstanding engineer to join our early-stage fintech as part of our founding team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in:

• Designing our foundational frontend architecture;
• Deciding our modern technology stack;
• Developing our key applications;
• Launching our MVP and iterating on the product roadmap;
• Forming our engineering culture, promoting best practices and long-term focus.

This is your chance to be a protagonist at work, working on challenging projects with a meaningful impact, as part of a select team of elite engineers in a uniquely ambitious new payment network company.

Ideal Profile

Academic:

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields;
• Preferred Master/PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields.

Professional:

• Required 5-10 years of experience with modern, technically advanced companies;
• Preferred experience with early-stage start-ups, especially 0 to 1 stage;
• Preferred experience with fintech, especially payments in Brazil.

Success Track Record:

• Preferred graduated from top schools and/or with top grades;
• Preferred participated and/or won in competitions, received work-related awards;
• Preferred active leader in the community, has published articles, given lectures, etc.;
• Preferred other demonstrable proofs of ambition, intelligence, and/or resilience.

Hard Skills:

• Required at least 3 years of production-level experience in Flutter software development;
• Preferred experience with native app development, either Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift);
• Preferred experience with different API models, including GraphQL and Apollo Federation.

Soft Skills:

• Required Critical Thinking: thinks thoroughly about any decision, researches all appropriate options, weighs its pros and cons, debates the trade-offs with the team, and makes well-justified decisions;
• Required Commitment: hard-working, very responsible and dependable; can be counted on by the team, delivers all agreed work even in the face of challenges;
• Required Collaboration: enjoys teamwork, is transparent and communicates well with the whole team, is polite, thoughtful, and kind, continuously builds trust with all relevant stakeholders.

Other Requirements

• Language: Required at least Full Professional Proficiency in English;
• Location: Required at least 2x a week in office (Vila Madalena in São Paulo).

Compensation & Benefits

• Model: PJ;
• Salary: R$20,000.00 to R$40,000.00;
• Equity: Aggressive partnership program;
