CLINICAL APPLICATIONS MANAGER

General Summary:

The Clinical Applications Manager will have all direct management responsibilities for the field Clinical Applications team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implements and oversees the training and development of new Clinical Applications Specialists.
• Provides assessment and coaching to Clinical Applications Specialists.
• Assists Director, Clinical Applications in identifying training needs of Clinical Applications Specialist team and developing appropriate training programs.
• Oversees daily activities of Clinical Applications team including territory team issues, disciplinary situations, and performance reviews.
• Communicates regularly with Clinical Director to address issues and identify opportunities for growth and development of Clinical Applications team.
• Conducts hiring process for Clinical Specialists.
• Completes required administrative activities.
• Provides customer feedback to Marketing.
• Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company’s quality system.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• RDMS in Abdomen & Ob/Gyn.
• RDCS or RDCS eligible, RVT or RVT eligible preferred.
• Minimum 3 years commercial applications experience.
• Proven experience to effectively and appropriately display professional skills necessary to manage interpersonal relationships with team members, colleagues and customers.
• Proven ability to effectively manage daily tasks.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills consistently meeting customer and company’s time requirements.
• Effective team building, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to identify training/skills needs and design appropriate solutions.
• Ability to travel 50% or more of the time.
• Self motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision in an environment that requires strong teamwork and cross-functional interaction.
