The Director of Growth Products & Partnerships is responsible for shaping and executing growth initiatives and projects with strategic global accounts in Latin America and the Caribbean. This includes understanding both Visa and our partner’s capabilities, needs, and goals, and driving towards successful outcomes such as deal execution, new product or market launches, solutioning and pilots, growing existing business lines, or other strategic priorities. The role requires an ambitious payments professional with product and commercial acumen, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently to drive initiatives forward.

Essential Functions:

  1. Lead account and relationship management and sales planning for the Latin American operations of key global accounts, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders to ensure focus and progress on top priorities.
  2. Identify and pursue partnership growth opportunities that add significant value, expand distribution channels, or introduce new capabilities for Visa.
  3. Manage the development, negotiation, and signing of proposals by collaborating with internal stakeholders and strategic partners.
  4. Provide reporting, insights, and involve Visa leadership in critical account activities.
  5. Ensure partner implementations and existing business lines grow and meet mutual expectations through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  6. Project manage multiple workstreams and deliverables simultaneously.
  7. Support discovery, ideation, and product solutioning with partners, collaborating with product owners and sales teams.
  8. Drive opportunities to closure with legal, finance, and product teams, oversee product implementation, and facilitate feedback for product enhancements.
  9. This is a hybrid position. Days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 8 years with an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, JD, MD).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience in operating and business development roles within fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Experience in corporate strategy, financial services, or the payments industry is preferred.
  • Proven success in managing complex sales efforts from negotiation to delivery.
  • Experience in implementing strategic initiatives and operational decisions.
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and diverse teams.
  • Experience working in a global environment, with Asia experience preferred.
