Dev Lead/Architect Android / IOS – São Paulo

Requirements:

1. 8+ years of industry experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and interactive design and architecture
2. A strong understanding of complex computer science and software engineering principles
3. Strong knowledge of Android / IOS SDK different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
4. Ability to lead and mentor junior team members and guide them on important architectural aspects & decisions.
5. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
6. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect IOS or Android applications to back-end services
7. Strong knowledge of IOS or Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
8. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
9. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
10. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
11. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
12. Solid understanding of the application design patterns like MVP, MVVM, VIPER etc.
13. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
14. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
15. Familiarity with continuous integration ex: Jenkins CI tool. Good to have, not mandatory.
16. Knowledge of Unit Testing e.g. Junit, Mock API

Responsibilities:

1. Design and build applications for the IOS or Android platform
2. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
3. Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
4. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
6. Bring new ideas and innovation to the team
