Accessories development PL Engineer – São Paulo

Create and implement accessories, boutique and lifestyle items business at Brazilian market.

Key Responsibilities

PLANNING

1. Make a benchmark and research to detect best selling accessories and products for GWM cars.
2. Make feasibility study to evaluate if accessories should be imported or developed in Brazil.
3. Search for potential suppliers to develop specific accessories.
4. Approve accessories pipeline planning with BOD and HQ.
5. Follow up brand and product managers strategies to support new vehicle models personalizations.
6. Manage accessories life cycle based on retail sales, quality level, model year and new model introduction.
7. Price setting.

DEVELOPMENT

1. Make bidding for local developments.
2. Follow up local and international suppliers development.
3. Follow up INMETRO, Anatel and NCM applications.
4. Make technical visits at suppliers to secure quality level.
5. Homologate accessories quality.
6. Validate accessories quality with related departments (R&D, Quality and HQ).

RETAIL IMPLEMENTATION

1. Create accessories instructions to guide dealers on how to install such accessories.
2. Prepare materials to support retail sales.
3. Make LIVES and meetings to introduce accessories pipelines.
4. Prepare retail and quality management reports, update, share and guide related teams.

Required

1. Technical knowledge over accessories, boutique and lifestyle products business.
2. Good communication.
3. Negotiation experience with suppliers, top management, head-quarter, etc.
4. Deeply analysis & problem resolution oriented.
5. Teamwork mindset.
6. Projects management and multi-task capability.

Qualifications

1. Engineer.
2. Experience with accessories business and boutique & lifestyle items development.
3. Experience with suppliers development and management.
4. Experience with automotive industry.
5. Portuguese (home language).
6. English (advanced).
